LifeCare Community ServicesOur Central Network Ministry Hub is the facet of LifeCare that increases the effectiveness and productivity of faith-based groups, joining together in unity as part of a collaborative team working with social service agencies in helping people in need. The LifeCare Board of Directors works with existing area committees or appoints new committees to collaborate in providing ministry and services in various areas as part of our Community Collaboration.
The Advisory Committee serves as a faith-based network for community collaboration with local groups of service organizations. They serve to facilitate fellowship and joint service efforts among area faith communities and community agency leaders to meet the needs in our community, meeting and collaborating with local groups, partners and service organizations. They also help provide ideas and feedback for the LifeCare Board of Directors. The Chaplain Committee recruits, trains, and supports community mentors to serve police, fire, EMS and 911 staff making build relationships and offering support for these brave tireless community service teams. The Networking Committee gives of their time to make contacts and build relationships with community partners to help foster collaboration in meeting needs of more people in our County. The Resource Committee oversees our websites, social media, databases, and all related elements, including training materials, calendars, promotional information and tracking of community services and resources. Using secure web-based applications our Member Affiliates can access our DATABASE, FACEBOOK, CALENDAR, and WEBSITES that facilitate service coordination and referrals to help with communications, to prevent duplication and to track resources and outcomes. We coordinate resources and services to improve our assistance in helping people with needs. Our Service Hub allows us to 'collaborate' and thus coordinate calendars, events and seminars; manage distribution of benevolence services; and track volunteers and service outcomes. |
